I haven't been too impressed by some of this brewery's weaker beers, but I love a good wheat beer. Pours with a decent head that is soon gone with barely more than a ring around the glass. Has some carbonation seeping to the top and is slightly hazy but not quite as cloudy as your regular hefe. Aroma is citrusy and there is a little banana in there with a dry malt smell. Not too much bitter in the taste, but you get the banana bread and a little fruity bubblegum out of it. Not much of a peppery kick or bitterness at the end. It's a tad watery like some American wheat ales, but it is smooth and quite drinkable. I'd put this just below Sam Adams' Summer brew.

I love this beer. It has a hint of clove and banana but it's not overpowering.

I do wish it weren't as heavy. It's not really that heavy, but the sweetness would pair better if it were a bit lighter. I love this beer in the summer.

Overall a great beer. I can't drink it all the time, but I'm pretty excited when I find it in a bar.

Appearance: Cloudy orange. Initially a two finger white head that becomes a small murky layer of tiny bubbles. Lots of tiny bubbles. Slightly darker than typical hefeweizens. Some lacing but it retreats back into the beer

Aroma: Yeasty banana breadiness. Cloves. Some spiciness. What you'd expect but nothing groundbreaking

Taste: Tastes a little tart. Super crisp wheat. Coriander and cloves. Banana and bready yeasts on the back palate that lingers. Again, nothing new here. Does taste truer to form than most American hefeweizens so bonus points there

Mouthfeel: Crisp. Smooth despite the abundance of carbonation. A tad watery. Very quaffable

Overall: One of the better American hefe's I've tried. Very sessionable for any occasion. Especially good for warmer weather. Granted this has nothing on true German hefeweizens but I would get this again
