12 oz brown bottle with no freshness date.
A- Partly cloudy with a finger of head that holds well. Looks like a typical American wheat beer.
S- Mild spicy wheat aroma, hint of nutty yeast as well ... light aroma.
T&M- Ample crispness off of a moderate body, nice bite from the spicy fermented wheat and hop bitterness. Plain maltiness dulls with a earthy nutty yeast ... uneventful after that. Finishes semi-dry with more wheat malt flavor.
D- Decent drinking on a hot day, but it is just your typical American Wheat.

Pours a cloudy orange gold beer with a thin foamy lace. There's yeast in the bottle, so I made sure to pour 3/4 of the bottle, gave the bottle a swirl and poured the remaining to gather up all of the yeast goodness.
Light yeast, clove, banana and grain in the nose.
A light-bodied beer with a smooth watery consistency. Upfront splash of tart lemon, and some mineral flavours. Crisp, tight fizzy carbonation. Spicy clove flavours follows, with a thin malty sweetness and faint touch of caramel malts.
IMO, one of the better beers from Flying Dog. Light, falvourful and very refreshing.

I love this beer. It has a hint of clove and banana but it's not overpowering.
I do wish it weren't as heavy. It's not really that heavy, but the sweetness would pair better if it were a bit lighter. I love this beer in the summer.
Overall a great beer. I can't drink it all the time, but I'm pretty excited when I find it in a bar.

Appearance: Cloudy orange. Initially a two finger white head that becomes a small murky layer of tiny bubbles. Lots of tiny bubbles. Slightly darker than typical hefeweizens. Some lacing but it retreats back into the beer
Aroma: Yeasty banana breadiness. Cloves. Some spiciness. What you'd expect but nothing groundbreaking
Taste: Tastes a little tart. Super crisp wheat. Coriander and cloves. Banana and bready yeasts on the back palate that lingers. Again, nothing new here. Does taste truer to form than most American hefeweizens so bonus points there
Mouthfeel: Crisp. Smooth despite the abundance of carbonation. A tad watery. Very quaffable
Overall: One of the better American hefe's I've tried. Very sessionable for any occasion. Especially good for warmer weather. Granted this has nothing on true German hefeweizens but I would get this again
