A- Pours a brownish amber into my snifter with one finger of head that disippates quickly.
S- roasted malty smell at front (not at all what I expected). But towards the end some citrus, tangerine smell took over. Very light smell, but not bad.
T- On the front there is just a tad bit of citrusy hop flavor. Then BAM! A load of deep roasted malts.
M- Feels almost... warm on the mouth. Could be due to other factors, but definitely had to be noted. Although not very syrupy and silky, it does have a good bit of syrupy silkiness for the low alcohol content.
O- Overall, not bad. Taste was not great but it gets a 3.5 because I cannot do 3.25 and because it has a different taste for a pale ale that worked well. Aroma was certainly disappointing. Could have used some dry hopping to give it some aroma.

First time having the new recipe. On tap at Big Hunt.
Pours a hazy copper color. Ok carbonation with a thin layer of off white head.
Smell of caramel malts and sweet hops. Citrus and floral notes come through.
Flavors come through more than the smell lets on. Not as bitter as I expected for a pale ale, but refreshing. I get zero roastiness that others describe from the bottle.
Creamy up front, but the bitterness never develops on the finish.
Overall, this is a good beer, not great. Didn't notice a big change in recipe, but I don't think the changes hurt it.

Bottle into glass gives a mediuem sized, light-biege head. beer is orange/copper in color almost translucent. Head dissipates rather quickly and leaves a small amount of lacing. Smells mostly of malt, caramel and a little roasty, not getting much hops except a tad floral.
Taste starts with caramel malt and heavy bread. Has a little bit of roastiness throughout, with a hint of floral and citrus on the finish. Has a bit of creaminess, heavy body for an PA with heavy and lively carbonation.
