“Pig Rinse”! Lol! Got a 50 cL silver can, poured it into a snifter in Toulouse, France. Grand foam tops morning pee coloured brew. Got it fresh! Canned on 11/26/23, (drank on 12/5) best by 12/26/24, but I imagine this pink pig turns purple by then.
Smells of cereal malt and a little piggly smack of Belgian yeast.
Tastes like it came from from a Big Brewery’s sugary tinny metal silo. Just enough yeast to call it Belgian blonde ale. A bit of bitterness at finish saves it from disaster.
Mouth is medium-dense, and there’s medium carbonation.
Overall, hoped this would be an every-day sud, but it’s just a pig with lipstick.,

Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours a clear yellow with loads of white head. The nose is lavender, spice, apricot, orange, big malts, wheat, and a bit of leather. The taste largely follows the nose. A bit sweeter than expected though. Candy, apricots, pineapple, orange, wheat, malts, a floral component, and a caramel note. Really nice. Overall, a great blonde. The alcohol is not apparent on the taste.

The pig is loose and the pig is wild! And that’s ok, because he’s a cool pig. Link like you want to, oink like you know how. Let’s go before we can’t, and I’ll tell you one thing: Raul will.

I think the label artwork says it all wordlessly-- a pink pig swilling a stein of this stuff. The flavor and aroma is just simply Double Bubble gum. You could say that it's esters and such but if that's Belgian yeast it should have its passport checked before Ommegang gets hold of it.

Seriously, deadly, sweet. Weirdly enough it is kind of appealing after your tastebuds recover a little -- "oh, so fruity." but then another sip and it's a big wad of Juicy Fruit dribbling down your chin. From the 500 ml can purchased at a French supermarket but refrigerated a few months. Label says brewed by Haacht SA, in Boortweetbeek; love that name!

"Brewed by Gebrouwen door", "NVBr. Haacht SA, Provinciesteenweg, 28, 3190, Boortweetbeek, Belgium" for "SA Ditcom, Villeneuve d'Ascq, 59650, France"
"Rince Cochon"
50 cl can, coded "E: 12/07/19 L: 101 08:37"
1.88€ @ Carrefour City, Batignollles, Paris, FR

Notes via stream of consciousness: So it looks like this brand has new ownership; I'll see if I can update it later on. It's poured a clear golden body beneath a short head of bright white that's steadily dwindled but still maintains a solid surface covering and has left almost solid lacing where the head had originally been. The aroma clearly expresses Belgian yeast with clove and peppery phenols over a malty base. The flavor follows with a little more alcohol than I'd have expected for a beer of 8.5%, and also less graininess - I'm guessing there might be some adjunct in use. It's malty with clove and some other phenols upfront, not that I can really pick them out, fruity with apple and pear, and then spicy and eventually peppery in the finish with some rising bitterness that dries it. Overall it's got what I'd call a stiff bitterness that's not too apparent in the flavor but comes out in the end. Medium-light in body and gently crisp and then smooth across the palate.
