A pale straw colored brew with medium sized bubbles, a quickly receding white head that leaves no lacing and has no curtains.
Smelling of corn and boiled vegetables.
Sweet corn flakes, some sour grape-fruit, an alkaloid bitterness.
Medium carbonation, smooth and fresh, a slightly dry finish.
Nope, did not call for a second round. Too little hops, malt and beer in this.

Kung Markatta Ljus Lager, ABV: 2.6%.
330 ml bottle, 13.90 SEK at Maxi ICA Stormarknad.
A: Clear, very pale, straw-coloured liquid, with a white head that sinks quickly, leaving nothing but a thin ring on the surface.
S: Grassy hops, apples, lemon, lime, white bread and yeast.
T: Doughy bread, breakfast cereals, apples, hay and bad notes of paper.
M: Watery liquid with small bubbles and dry, minimal bitterness.
O: An unpasteurised, organic lager without alcohol tax, made for Swedish supermarkets - it has some taste, but it's light and feels quite nasty. For this price it's a Big no-no. If you want to be environmentally friendly: Why not buy something produced near-by instead?

An organic beer.
The beer pours with a fizzing sound. The colour is the palest yellow possible (5 EBC), the liquid is clear. The finger thick head is white; it sinks slowly leaving no lacing.
The smell is somewhat sweet with a light bitter-chemical flavour. Some hints of mineral and white bread. Simple and clean.
The taste is a bit light with a very thin body. Some malty-bready flavours and a light clean bitterness. Flowery hints, and some honey. The short aftertaste got some artificial honey-bread-butter notes and a fragile bitterness.
The carbonation is medium strong; the many bubbles are small and fresh. The liquid is watery.
A very light beer. Clean, yes, but still very light.
