Poured from the nitro can into a clear glass, this beer is a deep brown color, completely opaque. It has a creamy tan head that lingers indefinitely. It smells malty, nutty, choclatey (as it should)! It tastes like a sweet chocolate milk, at first and then ends with a bittersweet chocolate bite. It is like biting into one of those dark chocolate bars that is 80% (or more) pure dark cocoa. Makes sense, since that's what this beer is made from! The feel of this beer is smooth and creamy - meant to be sipped. It leaves a nice aftertaste of chocolate after it goes down. It makes a nice after-dinner, desert-like treat. Delicious!
