A finger-width of buttery milk-white foam atop a bronze amber body. A milky galaxy remains after the head dies.

Aroma was hard to sniff out. Very airy with like an oily brown smell. Smells like a brown ale.

Taste is buttery and nutty. I taste a pinch of hops and some brown toast. Has that English trademark.

Mouthfeel is silky, sweet, and delicate for the most part.

After being somewhat turned off by this beer, I looked at the best before date...and I'm drinking this 5 months too late. I don't know the magnitude of the change in taste, but I'll give this one another chance later.
