Poured into a tumbler glass: color is amber, darker than expeced, head presents 1/2 inch thick then dissipates to a ring and light top.
Smell is all malt, reveals itself as some toffee and light caramel, very mild hop presence that is lightly earthy.
Taste is also malt heavy, toffee and some caramel are present, hops are slightly more pronounced than the aroma, mainly earthy and grassy like flavors; bitterness is on the tongue and slightly biting.
Mouthfeel is more towards an ipa style than some of the flavors, lingering bitterness to counteract the maltier flavors, but not drying.
Overall a good beer, but maybe stronger english bitter style ale than an ipa, I just dont see the bitter and dry qualities.

This beer had a copper new penny appearance; very bright. There was a thick white head with a lot of lace.
It had a sweet malt aroma. I noticed some citrus and grassy hops.
Pretty nice taste. Grapefruit, tangerine primarily. a little bit of floral hops. Sweet malt late; the sweetness really lingered.
This was a nicely-hopped, fairly sweet IPA. Very easy to drink.
