A: Golden amber color, with just a touch of haze. Head was 1 finger of white foam, but faded rather quickly with scant lacing remaining.
S: Blueberries dominate (true to the name). There's also a citrus aroma, hints of the wheat and yeast, and a faint whiff of pepper.
T: Initially flavorful, with a nice balance of wheat, tart citrus, and blueberries, but the finish is a bit empty (there's a background of hops bitterness mixed with blueberry fruitiness, but nothing impressive).
M: Nice carbonation, and equal measures moist & crisp.
O: Above average for a fruit-infused American wheat ale. I like that the blueberry flavor doesn't taste like they poured in blueberry syrup (like some I've tasted). Still, it just didn't quite come together. It's decent, but not at all complex or exciting.

Hold a pint of this up to your nose and you will smell wheat and sweet berries. Unfortunately it smells like the sugary artificial berry syrup used in the cooking industry.
Take a drink and you will taste an incredibly bitter beer which leaves a soapy aftertaste in your mouth.
Rarely do I ever advocate not purchasing a beer. This is one time I must say, never buy it! KBC has a very good reputation and I was highly disappointed.

Hugely disappointing. Maine is known for its blueberries, so why this tasted like I just opened up a vending machine blueberry muffin then washed back with a Coors is beyond me. Pours a light gold with a thin bubbly head. Smell and taste is in your face with sickly sweet blueberries, but the kind that comes in fake syrup form, not the real deal. Finished somewhat bitter. Very odd and very poorly balanced. Although this beer is very light bodied, I couldn't possibly drink more.

Pours a clear medium golden with a half inch ivory head that quickly dissipates.
Reeks of blueberry as soon as the bottle is opened. Wheat and bready caramel malt become evident upon further investigation.
Blueberry is dominant throughout the flavor profile. Tastes like extract, almost like a cheap blueberry muffin. There's a bit of wheat and caramel malt at the base. There's also a slightly sour character.
Body is moderate to light, with moderate to spritzy carbonation.
It is what it is...blueberry and wheat. Blueberry overwhelms the beer flavor and is a bit fake.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light golden amber with a half finger white head with good retention and no lacing. Aroma of fresh blueberries and a hint of sweet malt and wheat. Flavor follows with light, pleasant sweet and biscuit malt, blueberry syrup, finishing abruptly and lightly sweet. Light bodied, as expected. I liked this better than I expected, the flavors are light but well balanced, perhaps a bit on the sweet side, but not cloying. Might go well with a blueberry muffin or crisp.
