Pours with a thin head , no lacing. Clear copper color.

Nutmeg, pumpkin in the nose.

Hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie.No hops , somewhat sweet caramel finish.

Mouthfeel is medium, decent carbonation.

Drinkability is fairly decent for this style.

A: I was able to get a little over a finger of cream-colored head with an aggressive pour, and it had decent retention. The color was between amber and straw, with just a hint of haze.

S: Very subtle, not strong pumpkin or spice. If the label didn't say otherwise, I'd swear I was smelling a wheat beer rather than an ale.

T: OK, now I sense the pumpkin (1st) and spice (2nd), with a bready malt and hops making an appearance as it finishes going down. It's not at all bad, but it isn't very intense. It actually gets better with subsequent swigs, as the pumpkin and spice flavors work their way deeper into the taste-buds.

M: Not much carbonation, and just enough dryness to make you want to keep drinking.

O: Not a very intense pumpkin ale, but a pleasant, lighter, fruity ale for a mid-afternoon quaff to quench your thirst.

What a different beer. I've had Pumpkin ales before, but this one's a little different. It pours a very yellow/straw color. It reminded me of a pop at first the way the head appears not to leave a lace and quickly dissapears. The smell really turned me off right off the bat, just smelled wrong. BUt then I took a taste and Oh my, it was pretty good! The spices really come through, way more than the smell would indicate. Mouthfeel and drinkability are so,so. I like the taste, but with every taste you do have to bring it past your nose. It has a very similar smell to New Glarus' Belgian Red.

Pours a medium yellow gold with a quickly dissipating head. Smell is mainly spices with a vague malt note. Taste likewise is mainly spice with a slightly redeeming light creamy malt undertone. Mouthfeel is creamy yet with a slightly tart pleasant finish. Because of the above qualities the drinkability is good.

Appearance- pours a slightly watery, pale gold, almost straw color with a bubbly off-white head and little lace. Oddly light for a pumpkin ale.

Smell- Heavy on the spice- cinammon and nutmeg are almost powerful enough to hide the faint malt, and nearly undetectable hops.

Taste- Again, lots of pumpkin pie spices, but also some sweet honey and caramel malt to balance. Decent crispness and a little dryness on the finish. Actually leaves me wanting more. 4

Mouthfeel- As expected, a little on the light side, but not bad, given the crisp flavor.

Drinkability- When compared with some of the other, (usually overspiced) pumpkin ales, this one turns out to be a pretty refreshing drinker. I'd like to get my hands on a six pack if i could.

This beer pours a pale, straw yellow color, with a thick, white head. The head fades quickly, leaving no lacing.

This beer has a slightly spicy aroma. I smell some pumpkin, and some nutmeg. It has a slightly grainy aroma as well. I also smell a little cinnimon. All aromas are very subtle.

This beer tastes mostly of cinnimon. I taste some pumpkin spice, and a little nutmeg. That is pretty much it for flavor. As with the aroma, the flavor is very subtle.

This beer is a little over carbonated. It leaves a cinnimon like aftertaste.

I think this beer would make a decent session beer. I may get tired of the cinnimon flavor after a while though. Alcohol is low, so that wouldnt be a problem.

Overall: Although not my favorite beer from the style, I dont have a problem with this beer. I would buy it again.

A nice golden hue at first pour, with good foam, this seasonal smells of pumpkin and light spiciness initially, with maybe some nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove. Taste is a balanced mix of Fall flavors -- not overpowering or artificial at all, as some pumpkin ales tend to be. Actually, this one's among my favorites of the pumpkin beers -- mild, easygoing, and quite drinkable.

Poured from bottle into pint glass

A- Clear yellow/orange in color with a bright white head.

S- Sweet pumpkin spice, not much else

T- Much like the smell but more complex. Sweet malts, perhaps caramel which gives way into pumpkin spice with a mild bitterness at the end

M- Mostly light in body with some mild carbonation

O- I think its a good pumpkin ale. Perhaps kinda simple, but certainly enjoyable.

12oz long neck.
A) Pours with two finger head, then settles to a creamy white head with tight and sticky lacing. Clear body with active upward carbonation. Bronze in color.
S) Cinnamon. Nutmeg. Pumpkin. Smells similar to a pumpkin roll packed with cream cheese. A pleasant smell but might indicate a overly sweet brew...
T) Fall spices and pumpkin up front and through to the finish. Flavors thin a bit toward the end. Subtle nuttiness mixed in.
M) Light bodied. Fizzy, yet fairly smooth.
D) A pleasant drink. Almost a session brew. I'd have another.
