Pours light orange with a thin head that doesn't stick at all. Smells like pumpkin pie, fruity and spiced. Spices are prominent in the taste - cloves are notable - and pumpkin is matched to this. As with most KBC beers, there is a sweet flavor that tastes a bit odd, though it is very faint in this one. Regular beer flavors, malt and hops, are barely noticeable. Mouthfeel features moderate carbonation which enhanced the spice flavors, but also has an unpleasant sticky feeling as it warms up. Fairly light all around, decent drinkability, though not something to drink slowly as it has some less pleasant notes that become more apparent closer to room temperature.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy straw yellow with a medium fizzy white head that quickly goes to a thin collar.
The aroma is pumpkin spices - nutmeg and cinnamon over some bready malts.
The flavor is sweet malts with a ton of pumpkin spices - nutmeg, cinnamon and some pepper. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low, but spritzy, carbonation.
Overall, a bit of a spice bomb - not at all subtle over the smaller beer. But I enjoyed it.

Pours a clear golden orange with a quarter inch ivory head that lingers.
Ginger, cola, sweet caramel, and floral hops comprise the aroma. Cinnamon and clove scene.
Cola is the dominant flavor, with cloves and ginger taking over the profile. Cinnamon is also evident. Caramel malt is overshadowed. The finish is slightly bitter.
Body is moderate to light, with fairly high carbonation, making it spritzy.
Very much a spice bomb of a pumpkin brew. I'm not a ginger or cola fan, so not my thing. Becomes metallic.

12 oz bottle served in a Deschutes snifter. I found this bottle in my parent's fridge and no one knows how it got there.
A: Pours a clear amber color with with thick white head forming on the pour. It recedes slowly, but no lace is left behind.
S: Pumpkin flesh, lager yeast and notes of pale malt with some light cinnamon. A littler mineral water as well.
T: Old/rotting pumpkin flesh. Some mettalic/tin like tastes and then a huge rush of cinnamon. It's like chewing on a cinnamon stick.
M: Light bodied, standard carbonation and drinkability.
O: Wasn't terrible, but definitely over spiced and the mineral water flavors weren't a turn on. Will not revisit.

12 fl oz brown glass bottle with standard pressure cap acquired at Trader Joe's Culver City yesterday and served into a Uinta pilsner glass in me gaff in low altitude Los Feliz, California. Reviewed live. Expectations are average given the brewery. I'm in the mood for a good pumpkin ale. 4.7% ABV confirmed. No visible best before date.
Served after a period of rest from the refrigerator. Side-poured with standard vigor as no carbonation issues are anticipated.
Paired with pretzels.
A: Pours a five finger beige colour head of nice cream, fair thickness, and good retention - though the ABV is fairly low. Body colour is a clear translucent pale yellow. No yeast particles are visible. Not particularly vibrant. No bubble show. Meh.
Sm: Pumpkin, spice, a hint of brown sugar. Fresh palt malts and barley. A pleasant aroma, and surprisingly evocative for a beer at this price point. Average strength.
T: Pumpkin - definitely on the climax. Real pumpkin too; doesn't feel artificial. Clean malts form the simple foundation. Some spice comes through, particularly nutmeg and cinnamon. Really a simply built beer, but balanced. A bit bland on the open; couldn't they make it creamy or something? In any case, it fits the bill for this style at this price point. Some bland somewhat stale barley closes it out. A bit too sweet. Too sugary (brown sugar) in the third act. This problem becomes clear as you get further down the bottle. No yeast comes through. No bubble show.
Mf: Nicely coarse and wet. Good thickness. Suits the flavours generally well. Carbonation is good.
Dr: Over-spiced with cinnamon and just all around simple. I might pick it up if I want a budget pumpkin ale. There's more pumpkin flavour here than in many pumpkin beers I've tried at much higher price points, so that's a plus. And it is well-priced. Would make a good introduction to pumpkin ales, but I couldn't bring myself to recommend it. Another forgettable brew from KBC. Still, I look forward to buying whatever KBC beer Trader Joe's stocks that I haven't had in future. As far as budget beers go, KBC is a dependable brand.

12 oz bottle from TJs.
A: pours a yellow-golden-amber color with a light haze and a fragile off-white head. Medium size carbonation bubbles rise continually.
S: A nice malty, pumpkin pie aroma with plenty of actual pumpkin squash aroma.
T: The flavor doesn't follow through as well as one might hope. There are notes of pumpkin squash along with some appropriate spices, but the illusion of a malty pumpkin pie is not present. Good mix and quantity of spicing; this is not one of the all-too-common over-spiced pumpkin ales. A little on the sweet side, but at a good level for the flavor profile. Relatively good finish and aftertaste.
M- Crisp; medium-high carbonation. Medium body.
O: an above average pumpkin at a below average price.

Pours a hazy light orange with a foamy tan head that settles to an oily film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of malt and a lot of pumpkin pie spices. Taste is of malt, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spices. There is a mild spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. There is a bit of a dirt-like aroma and flavor I am also getting as the beer warms up. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty poor beer with a weird dirt presence that is not enjoyable.

Poured to a golden yellow with no he'd. Looked just like Budweiser.
Smelled of pumpkin. Couldn't smell any spices or other aromas.
Tasted like artificial pumpkin. It's sweet too, maybe a little too sweet. But it's not terrible. Having one, so it's okay with me. I don think I'd drink more though.
The beer is too watery and has very little body. Aside from that, it's fine.
I'm not impressed. This may be one of he poorer pumpkins I've tried this season. Still, it's not absolutely terrible and could do in a pinch.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy-yellow with a long lasting white head. Aroma is sour at first followed by pumpkin and bready malt. Body is medium and smooth. A lot of pumpkin, hints of malt and hops fill the mouth. Finish is long and very pumpkin. Too much pumpkin for me.
