Pours a pale golden hue, with very little head to speak of. Smells, peppery. Candied sugar. Toasted grains. Pale malts. Herbal hops and yeast dance on the nose. Taste has a bit of a bite with juniper berries. Very peppery and sweet with candied sugar. Has a floral and citrus finish. Mouthfeel is low to medium carbonation, smooth, and a bit tingly. Overall, an ugly looking beer with great flavour, aroma, and surprise.

Had one hell of a time getting the cork off of this bottle. If you don't have a corkscrew then goodluck!

Pours a very nice cloudy peach with a thin white head.

The aroma is filled with yeast, cloves, apricot, spices, banana bread, lots of great stuff!! Smells like a typical hefe would.

Tastes alot like their hefe weiss, but a lot stronger and more complex. Alot of coriander and spices and very fruity and sweet.

Overall a great beer, although nothing really special or unique.

Pours clear gold. Snow-white head, a good finger width with good retention.

All about the yeast on the nose though you can make out a clean base with some okay floral notes.

Herbs mingle with grainy malt, grassy hops, a bold yeast, and some honey sweetness. It's all just a bit much for me. The trappist yeast and sweetness make it a difficult one to come to terms with.

It's not bad, but it's a bit tough to get through more than half a bottle.

A - Pours golden with a slight haze and nice moderate carbonation. Two fingers of fluffy white head on top leave pretty good lace rings and one finger of retention.

S - Lot's of orange, sweet spice and yeast, some banana is hiding in there.

T - Sweet spice, lot's of orange, banana is there too. Fairly sweet. You can tell the candi sugar is there but the adjuncts are fairly tame with just a bit of floral notes. After a while the floral and berry elements really come out, making this a really complex flavour profile.

M - Nice carbonation, medium to full body and a nice sweet and dry finish.

O/D - A pretty interesting and tasty beer. Tastes quite similar to a weizenbock. Lot's of nice depth with the adjuncts being subtle. It didn't blow me away, and even though I did enjoy it, I don't think I could finish a 750 of it.
