Poured from the bottle into a tulip pint glass. Green bottle.
Straw yellow, and GREEN body. This beer has a green hue? who would have thunk it! A thick and clumpy white laced head, falls slowly, lots of clumpy lacing. Just the faintest of small rising tiny carbonation bubbles.
Slight skunk, a nice smell of honey and grass. Malt sweetness, luckily this isn't too far gone but it's definitely been hit. Too bad, if this wasn't skunked I think there's some real nice qualities that are now fighting for prominence.
Palate seems to match the nose. A nice honey sweetness in the mid palate, with a real solid coating. Not much sense of carbonation either. A good density. Not very crisp though for a pilsner.
Overall, not bad, very easy drinking with a good feel as the best part, just with this wasn't as compromised.

A: Pours a light golden color with a creamy head that fades to bits of lacing.
S: Aroma of grain, some malt and bit of citrus and skunk in the background.
T: Taste is slightly tangy, with a mild sweetness. There is a mild bitterness and a clean finish.
F: Light body and smooth.
O: Another run of the mill German Pils. Would drink again if offered one but would not go out of my way for one.

11.2 oz green stubby bottle straw yellow color frothy white head and a patchy light lace. herbal, grassy, clean hop aromas. first taste was slightly sweet then herbal and grassy then strong hops. mouthfeel smooth, light, carbonation is a little light but overall not to bad a beer. higher abv helps make up for less beer in the 11.2 oz. bottle.

Served in a tulip at Novare Res
Has a big big creamy white head the beer is pale golden in color
The aroma is mostly pale malts with a slight hint of noble hops but very slight
The carbonation come upfront and reveals a pale malt and biscuit the taste of hops shows but is not prominent.

Pours pale straw yellow with a big white head. Decent lace.
Initially out of the bottle, there is big skunk here. I either got used to it or it dissipated out of the glass. Some light malt and grassiness too.
Light malt, light grain, and some grassy sweetness leading to an immediate bitter bite. Heavy handed clean bitter hoppiness. It works, but really obscures the malt.
Light bodied, with decent carbonation. A little astringent.
I liked this, but not as much as others. Some clear flaws and balance problems, but not enough where you'd drain pour. I like the clean bitterness of the hops (no pine or citric notes). This was also a little expensive for what I got, quality-wise. Won't pass, but won't pursue.

I SOOO wanted this beer to be good dont know why maybe it was the coolish looking bottle. Bottle dated 12/10 poured into a Stella Chalice.
VERY light gold color even for a Pils its very light.
Smelled SKUNKY!!! Taste was very weak.
Reminded me of a BCM!

Appearance- golden yellow with crisp clarity and light white head, nice small bubbles quickly stream the glass
Smell- Faint hops and slight malty and breadiness, not an overwhelming nose
Taste- hmm interesting taste for most pilsners, definitely does lack some some of the bready malts you can get in alot of the style but it is very heavy in hops for sure, finish is a long hoppy and dry finish, flavor is overall enjoyable though perhaps not the most complex
Mouthfeel- very crisp with good amount of carbonation and overall a very dry pilsner,
Drinkability- Overall a decently drinkable and enjoyable pilsener, which was certainly more on the hoppy side for most of the style, it was good with average complexity, a decent example of the style but nothing mind blowing

Pours a pale yellor with medium, foamy head. Aroma is typical Pilsner grains and slight grassy hops. Taste is cereal and sweet malts with only a slight hop bitterness. It's a little watery and has weak carbonation, so it didn't sit very well on my palate. For as much as I love Einbecker, I was disappointed in this one - I enjoyed their Feinherb more.

Super super pale. Head disapates fast. Very even carbonation and evervescent. The hops are a mix of Hallertau and Saaz. Very spicy to the nose. Grassy malts and grains with a good punch of herbal hops and grassy hops. Mouthfeel is moderately drying and it is actually thisrtquenching. I can drink a few of these. Solid German pilsner.

I bought a single of this and that was a wise decision. Other than the bottle looking cool, the beer was nothing special. Light golden color like many other beers of the style. A bit of a skunky grassy aroma as the top is popped. The taste is much like a Grolsch or Holsten. If you have this beer at a party, wait till the end of the night when all the tasty beers have been consumed.

12 oz green bottle.
After I pop the top there is no skunk luckily. It pours an incredibly pale and light straw yellow, really really light, the head is big and white and quickly dissipates.
t smells like your typical German Pils, it has a malt/hop balance. This one has a little more malt than most. The hops are grassy/medicinal/herbal.
The taste is also maltier than most pilseners. There is a light hop bitterness but overall this is too sweet for a pils.
It has high drinkability I'll give it that, but it is below average for a German made Pils, still better than most American ones.
