Draught in Granby: This one pours an opaque brown color with a bit of a tan head. The head lingers awhile and leaves some lacing. The aroma really doesn't jump out at you, but it is nice. Some caramel malts and some fruits are predominant. The taste is interesting. Some sweet malts, followed by a sour hit. Some tart fruits are most evident. The Brett works nicely here.

Appearance: Arrives with a cola brown color and ruby highlights: the head looks as if it were a nitro pour; it lasts a long time and really delivers the lace
Smell: Caramel, dark fruit and a whiff of tart cherry
Taste: Fruity, up front, with caramel undertones that set a sweet malt platform for the tartness that ensues, with dark cherry and black currant tartness that continues to develop after the swallow; in the finish, there is a medicinal funkiness
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Drinkability: A bit of a hybrid between the Flanders Red and Oud Bruin styles: very worthwhile
