Appearance: It has a nice ruby/orange color to it. It has a nice light pink head that dies down moderately and leaves nice lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of sweet raspberries with some faint bready malts.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has alot of sweet raspberries, with light lemon and a light breadiness.

Mouthfeel: It has a low carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with decent flavors and aromas.

375ml bottle poured into a wine glass.

A - Pours a murky reddish rosé color with a light pinkish head of frothy foam. Excellent head retention with sticky lacing that trumps most brews I've seen before. I've always heard that lambics are no good for head retention and lacing, but this brew takes that

S - Smells of raspberries, more sweet than tart, with a subtle grassy funk and slight metallic twang Pretty simple on the nose, although nice.

T - All raspberries upfront, crisp and sweet, with some mild maltiness and subtle grassy funk. Again, like the nose this is really simple, but also really nice. Really mild profile overall, maybe even more-so than the Lindemans Framboise. Just a touch of sourness in the finish.

M - Light to medium bodied, with some crisp carbonation. Not much else to say, though fitting for the style.

D - A damn tasty brew from Mort Subite. While it's not exactly a funky Cantillon lambic, this beer is crisp and refreshing and overall really enjoyable.
