nice little tap room, right in the heart of the brewery. its all open air, so you get the smells of the brewery and you get to drink beer (practically) right next to the tanks.
the staff are friendly, and of course the beer is great. they have their regulars on tap and a couple specials here and there (brew house coffee stout is usually on tap there). price is good, beer flight is a way to go for newbies.
the only down sides to this place are that there isn't a ton of room, no food, hours are a little weird, not many tours, and its out in the middle of no-where off highway 10. thats part of its charm too tho.
overall, love going here for a beer, wish i could make it there more often tho

It’s local and it’s awesome! We went their as a stop after a regional basketball game and we were all very happy we did the research to find the place. They have a great atmosphere in which they had local live music and most had a love of beer. Going back once a year.

Central Waters brewery is located in the heart of Wisconsin, surrounded by corn fields, and plenty of open space. Amherst is a truly quaint and beautiful town, with the Tomorrow River running right through the heart of town.
The brewery itself is in an industrial looking area, and if you come from Hwy 10, you will see their beautiful display of solar panels behind the brewery. Righteous!
The tap room is located at the front of the brewery, so all the good stuff is visible to those hanging out enjoying a beer. The tap room is really cool. It screams simple, let the beer speak for itself. A three sided bar that seats about 15-25 people with another 10 or so tables with seating at each. During my most recent visit they had Peruvian Morning and BBBW on tap, and both of them were fantstic! The service was fantastic and the company was amazing.
They do not serve food at CW, and they have extremely limited hours, only open on Friday and Saturday. It's well worth the trip, no matter where you are traveling from.

My wife and I visited the Central Waters Brewing Company in August.
They have a sampler(6) in which you can choose the beers you want to taste and I beleive they had 10 differnt beers to choose from when we were there. It is in a small business park but the tap room is right in the brewery so it gave it a unique feel. It had no food.
It is well worth the visit if you are in Central Wisconsin but be warned the place gets crowded quickly after the doors open which is only on Friday and Saturday.

I went to school in Point and went here quite often. Great little taproom in the middle of the brewery. All the people are very nice, and service is excellent. They are only open Fridays and Saturdays, and they often have some local musicians playing some live music. Great atmosphere.
There is no food besides your basic bag of chips and what not, but they encourage you to bring your own (pizza or w/e).
They always have their usual lineup on tap, plus nitro mudpuppy and some specialty offerings which usually include one or two barrel aged beers (all beers are cw beers though, but why go to their brewery to drink other people's beers).
All beers are 3.50, and the regular lineup you get a pint, while the specialties (at least the BA goodness) you get 12 oz usually in a cw tulip.
They also sell beer to go and they fill growlers. I would definitely recommend visiting, you won't regret it!

Been here many times. Finally able to review it.
Basic tap room, smack dab in the middle of a fully functioning brewery. You can rest your head on the tanks at some of the tables. Wrap around bar has ample seating. Plenty of tables scattered throughout.
The beer selection is all Central Waters stuff but you certainly aren't gonna be sad about that. Periodically they have barrel aged stuff on tap and always rotate the seasonals. Never any quality issues here.
The people that work at the brewery are seriously some of the nicest people in the beer business. I've been treated like a long time local every time I've visited. From the owners on down to the helpers.
It may be in the middle of nowhere but it is well worth the drive up to enjoy Central Waters beer in it's natural habitat.
