Pours a rich orange amber with a little haze about itself. The head is a nice beige and quite tall. It's pocked with large bubbles and is quite dense. This beer is also well carbonated.
Aroma is rich and fragrant with grapefruit and orange blossoms. Malts are hidden deep in the background as the hop bouquet is the star here. The aroma doen't translate well to the taste. A moderately hoppy and bitter brew, but without the hop taste. Seems mumbled together. Malts are sweet but light in taste and have toward the end a biscuit or toast finish. Smooth and dry with like I said a fairly bitter finish. This was a good beer and definititly would drink more. I don't see the point if your going to make an IPA it should have hop flavor.

Pretty dark amber hue on this one. Nice flavor on this one. Pine-y resin with a mostly earthy (in a more vibrant kind of way) tone to all of it. Very smooth feel to things. This strikes me as a somewhat east coast interpretation of an ipa. Which seems slightly unusual coming out of Wisconsin. (I want to say it seems reminiscent of Double Simcoe.) A nice drinker. This would probably be good on cask.

Glacial Trail pours a darker golden color, with a nice long lasting head. Their is a clean crisp hoppy aroma. The taste has a pronounced malty backbone, with a bold hoppy flavor. These flavors do standout, and their is a strange soapy like aftertaste. Overall not the worst, but not great, expected better from central waters.
