2010 batch just in.

a - dark brown barely translucent liquid with a small tan head.

s - big coffee nose with some sweet chocolate like notes.

t - very nice. gives a high quality coffee flavor without being too overpowering. roasted malts build a body with a hint of sweetness to it (molasses, chocolate, or brown sugar?) that knocks the sharp bitter edge off coffee flavor.

m - medium to thick body. you definitely know there is some substance to it, but its not syrupy as the carbonation is there. mouth feel is one of the highlights to this beer.

overall - amazing beer. When I looked this up on BA, I was surprised it was 8.2%, I was wondering how the alcohol flavor would blend with the coffee, but it isn't there at all. Drinks like a 6%.
