Pitch black with brown head. Head reminds me of an aggressive pour of black coffee at a diner.

Smell is overwhelmly of strong coffee. Some roasted malts but otherwise a big cold glass of coffee. Some bittersweat chocolate peaks through from time to time, but this is a cup of coffee if there ever was one. Problem is, is that this is beer. Not a lot of complexity, but it is what it is. I would guess the ABV to be somewhere in the 6 to 7% range, so it is not something you would want before work, but with dessert this would be good.

With so many coffee stouts out there, this is not with the best, even though it is good.
