12 oz bottle poured into a Sierra Nevada Imperial Pint. No date or info. Purchased from Central Waters during their 12th anniversary party.

A - A tall pour results in a tan head cascading beautifully to a three-finger, stable dollop of thick foam. Great retention that thankfully went down because it left massive rings of sexy lace that had what looked like roots branching off everywhere. The beer is noticeably clear and dark amber brown.

S - Absolutely amazing coffee nose that reminds me of a delicious caramel macchiato topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce drizzles over the top of it. The nose is so bold and smooth with a hard roasted malt and coffee bitterness backing the smooth creaminess up. A little vanilla ice cream on the finish.

T - Smooth, robust, black roasted coffee with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream as well as caramel flavoring. The flavors are so bold with a subtle earthy complexity. Dark roasted malts not-so-much hide behind the coffee as they are masked. Dark unsweetened chocolate and dribbles of molasses with a hearty roasted bitterness finish out the flavor. Spectacular!

M - Smooth and robust starting with a creamy texture and medium-full body. Lightly carbonated finish with a decently balanced dry roasted bitterness.

D - Undeniably the best coffee beer I've ever had. Initially I thought it wouldn't be all that drinkable until I realized by this sentence it was almost gone. I'm so thankful my Dad found this years ago. I remembered it being absolutely amazing and it definitely hasn't let me down. Thankfully I'm going to clean a place out of it tonight!
