A: Cola black, into a snifter. Small head, nice lace windows.

S: Musty, woody, chocolaty.

T: Follows nose, add milk chocolate, and of couse, bourbon. Being a big fan of BB stouts, I find the bourbon isn't as in-your-face as Goose Island BCS. Which, is good. Great balance!

M: Very silky, boozy.

D: Again, the bourbon isn't as upfront as some. I'd put it up against many other BB Stouts, this year my favorite is Schlafly's BB Impy stout. This is a worthy brew. Love it. Fine job, guys! Now, distribute this in St. Louis!!!

S: Very rich breadiness, almost a yeastiness, sweet bourbon with some dark chocolate, medium high bourbon on the nose.

L: Very dark brown bordering on black. Light tan head that dissipates. Good lacing.

T: Rich breadiness up front with the bourbon sweetness following. Medium low bitterness with chocolate sweetness complementing the sweet bourbon. A big wave of breadiness hits before finishing.

M: Medium thin body, medium carbonation.

Pretty tasty, body was definitely on the thinner side. Not necessarily a bad thing. Nice balance of the bready malt with the bourbon.
