Enjoy the clover honey hue and tropical nose. Simultaneously punchy and soothing with a big body and a finish that boasts pineapple and grapefruit. Flower Power is hopped and dry-hopped five different times throughout the brewing and fermentation process.

I almost never found this beer, but it turns out my girlfriend is awesome. As we were driving out of Ithaca after a nice lunch, we passed by the brewery. She had had a brown ale from the brewery at lunch and enjoyed it, so she said, "Hey, we should stop." I was surprised, but of course immediately turned right and into the parking lot. We sat down and tasted a few samples and were very impressed. I never would have guessed it, but across the board Ithaca was fantastic, so we had to bring squeeze a variety 12-pack into the car. Very glad we did.
APPEARANCE: Poured a brilliant golden color from a 12oz. bottle into a pint glass. Almost a full inch of light, fluffy head that remained seated on top of the glass for a good three to four minutes. Fairly solid lacing, but not as much as I would have expected given the impressive and long-lasting head.
SMELL: You can smell this beer from afar as soon as it is poured. Amazing and powerful floral scent - true to the name. This is going to be a sweet, hoppy bomb.
TASTE: Despite the sweet smell, a bitter undertone is noticeable with as soon as the Flower Power hit's the tongue. The nose does come through, however, and a wave of sweet crests mid-sip before receding to let the bitter flavor close the sip.
MOUTHFEEL: Crisp and clean, yet still somehow a bit heavy. Lively bubbles also seemed to cleanse the tongue, but like apple juice, rather than quench my thirst, it left me wanting another sip.
OVERALL: This is a flat-out outstanding beer. However, being a bit on the rich side and at 7.5%, it may be tough to down more than two or three of these in a sitting.

Draft Ithaca Flower Power IPA at restaurant dinner in early March, 2024. This is a very good un-cloudy IPA with a good balance, some malt, but featuring hop flavor with enough bitterness for this consumer. It was fine with our dinner.

Poured from 12-ounce bottle into a tulip glass. Hazy dark orange in color, with a substantial white head that left scads of sticky lacing as it settled. This sample was quite malt-forward, with aromas and flavors of light caramel and grain alongside the floral and tropical hop notes. Medium bodied, with a resiny and bitter finish. Overall, a very good beer.

An attractively thick head sits atop a lovely hazy orange body. Floral aroma with some honey, lemon blossoms & pine tar. Mildly sweet with a fairly bitter finish. Hoppy flavor with citrus, pear & pine tar. Nice feel. I’m not a fan of IPS’s but this one is good

Pours a rich gold with a rocky white two finger head. Light citrus aroma, maybe some what floral. probably has more but my nose sucks. Taste shows some citrus peel a bit of grassiness and some biscuity malt. Light/medium bodied with a dry finish and mild carbonation. Very tasty warm weather IPA. I’ll be getting this again.

Ahhhhh. I get the west coast pine and grapefruit notes, with a touch of new school floral character. Just the right bitterness to finish it off. This was a fun one.
