On tap at the swift half pub. First time cool joint. Side by side with the cardonay barrel aged version.
A- comes to me with almost three fingers of rock dense off white head that rises above the glass a good inch and holds nicely. Head settles very slowly leaving tons of sticky lace on the glass. Hazy sunset copper orange in color. Great glow from the candle on the bar.
S- huge crisp citrus fruits and a clean semi funky brett hit. Hints of sweetness and spice.
T- opens up with a tug of war between some of the more citrusy hops I've come across and a assertive yet not overdone brett funk. Powdery yeastiness and fruits. Loads of citrus with lemons limes and tangerines and a bit of grapefruit but to a lesser extent, tropical fruits from the citra hops and funky yeast. Dry biscuits and some honey. Touches of spice in the middle to back.
M- midish body with a creeper stingy carb that grows and really efferveses nicely. Dry finish.
D- this is hands down the best brett ipa I've had, and the most drinkable to boot. I'm so glad I live in philly.

Had this one at BCTC and it was supposedly delivered from the brewery upon finishing. This is one of my favorite beers. Grapefruity…… I would never have thought it was a Brett beer.. The only beer I had twice at that fest. Also it was hazy,, which was odd then although we drank some Vermont or NE beers that actually started that trend. Great festival
