Ok, Belyi Medved Zhivoye means White Bear Living in english, however, it's a pasteurized lager. Ingredients frightened me: barley,hop products and (OMG) flavor enhancer "opacifier", apart from water, malt and yeasts.
Brand "White Bear" previously pertaining to brewery from Ufa "Amstar", now pertains to international Efes Anadolu Group and is being brewed in at least four cities of Russia (Ufa, Moscow, Novosibirsk and Kazan). My sample has been brewed in Moscow.
I don't want to remark that all brands in dirty paws of that consortium get worse and worse, "White Bear" hasn't succeeded being an exception.
Let's return to beer itself -
Pours dark muddy brownish-yellow, absolutely turbid, with 1.5-finger white head, weak aroma of malts and something artificial, taste is artificial, not living at all, simply a concoction of chemicals.
Avoid point-blank!
