Always a great selection of year brews, seasonals and site specialties on tap. Food is great and can be easily paired with any of the beers. Service can be a bit slow, but often this is because of the number of customers not the service itself. Both the beer and food provide a wide range of options. A favorite of tourists and locals alike!

Stayed in Gettysburg over the weekend and walked here from our hotel in town on Sunday evening. The tables were full and there was 1/2 hour wait so we went to eat at the bar since we could sit right down there.
The service was not the best. It took a while before the bartender would acknowledge my presence. Finally had a hoppy trail ipa and my husband had the octoberfest . The ipa was good but the octoberfest was kinda flat in my opinion.
My husband and I had a chicken sandwich. I thought mine was good by my husband felt his wasn't cooked enough and had a bad texture. He send it back and ordered a burger instead. 20 minutes later, the burger still hadn't arrived so we asked for the check and left.
Consequently, I don't recommend eating here but there is a good variety of beer on tap . There should be a winner in there somewhere if you have the patience and capacity to try and find it.

Stopped here for dinner on a whim while driving through Gettysburg. I'm glad I did, because it was a very enjoyable experience. I order the black and blue pork medallions, which were very delicious with a unique flavor. Other items ordered by my group included the reuben and cheeseburgers, both of which were very good as well. I had the Hoppy Trails IPA, which I would rate as good but not outstanding. The root beer and birch beer were enjoyed by the children in our group. Service by our waitress was excellent - very friendly and helpful. If I return to the area in the future, I will certainly be eating here again.

I went here to eat after walking the southern end of the battlefield. I was expecting more from them then I got since I have visited the one in Harrisburg.
I only really had to drinks, the White birth beer, which was not that good and the scottish ale which was not as fresh as it should have been.
The service was lacking until closing time approached, then the bartenders and the hostesses started to become pushy.
But the root beer BBQ wings where good. Better then I have had at the past few places I have been. The main disappointment was the fact that the waiting staff gave me my meal before the wing appetizer.

Walked in an very similar to the Harrisburg location, but almost had the feel of a standard restaurant. They seemed to have the same menu and prices as the Harrisburg location, as well as, the core beers were there, with a couple specialty beers there. They also had Duvel and Delirium bottles. The staff was wrapping it up for the night but still extremely friendly. Even though they were getting stuff closed down they didn't mind us hanging out and chewing the fat with us. Had a very enjoyable time there and talked to some locals that really got into craft beer because of this place. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

We arrived for an early lunch at 11:30 on a Sunday. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Children are welcome. There is a medium sized bar area and two dining rooms. Service was initially attentive, but dropped off as the dining room began to fill up. The food is standard brewpub fare, expanded a bit to include some entrees and salads, but nothing unusual. Unfortunately, the cheddar ale soup was cold, but the beer battered pretzels were good, as was the five cheese pizza. There were also complaints from our group about the sandwiches being cold and dry. There look to be between 6-8 of ABC's drafts on tap at any time. The quality of the beer was good, particularly the Celtic Knot Red Ale. I would stop in if passing through, especially for a growler fill, but would not go out of my way to eat here again.

I'm in this place just about everyother weekend fro lunch and to fill up my growler. Its quiet and relaxed; not too bright but still light enough to get a good color out of the beer and actually see what your eating. The people behind the bar are always very knowledgeable and can answer almost any question I've been able to come up with without consulting someone else. There is always a great selection of their beers, with one on cask most of the time, and a few bottles of belgium and belgium style beers available. I have never had an entree however every single burger, panini and grilled cheese I've had has been outstanding. The prices are great and I love a bar with a good beer sampler (8 five ounce samples) plus a 2$ growler fill discount on thursdays.

Have been here several times as we come to Gettysburg 3-4 times a year. Always stop here as the beer selection, quality and taste is better than anywhere else in town. The food is comparable with most other resturants around the town. Service depends on who you get as a server. Some do very well and know the beers, but notice their knowledge of the beers is more up the the individuals than the ownership. Prices are good and I've not been disapointed with any of the food selections. They change every-so-often.
Note: they do brew a small amount in the basement, but most comes in from the Harrisburg main brewery. Same as the one in Camp Hill. I'd give it a try.

This was our last brewpub/ beer bar stop on our PA road trip in late September. We stopped here because we were already in Gettysburg.
This place is easy to find and just off the path of the beginning of the battlefield driving tour. Probably the easiest place to find on our entire trip. The atmosphere is somewhat rustic and very woody with a feeling that you are eating inside of a giant barn.
Our waitress was decent and knew some things about the beer-but not much. They have a variety of beers offered on tap, but the beer selection reminds me of Rock Bottom, and more aimed at pleasing the general public than going the extra mile. The best of the beer was decent, slightly above average. The food was fine, good, but nothing special. They also sell their beer bottled to go by the 6 pack.
Not a bad place and definitely worth a try...but if you are only spending a day or so in the Gettysburg area there are much nicer, more historically relevant places to enjoy a meal that offer some nice local craft beers on tap.

Miss the old Gettysburg BC, one of the great family run brewpubs. This place is not downtown and not in walking distance, god I miss the old place.
The ABC is reasonable, very good (not great) and is smack dab in one of the most historic places in American history (not only for being at Gburg, but even more so for being next door and across the street from Lee's HQ). A nice relaxing place, not earth shaking, I give it a 3.9. Get there early on busy nights ( not as busy as the night of 6/30/63- 7/1/63). A nice, mellow place to drink in a building that has further potential. Parking can be tight FYI. Parking on the Chambersbug Pike is non existant, get there early. Like this place, but oh!
