Notes:
This is the same Blonde that you've had for years, only now it's toasted... Nicely toasted. Notice that it has an enhanced biscuit toasty taste and a light, dry finish. This is not a heavy blonde, but once in a while, we like to dress her up and get her toasted by actually roasting 30 lbs. of a special English malt right in our pizza ovens and adding it to the brew. It is still clean and lager- like, with just a little more of everything (except calories - 107/12 oz.).

I think one of the issues people have with this beer is that they are expecting an American Blonde Ale, when in reality, it is a decent English Ordinary Bitter-- a style most Americans are not familiar with.
It is a little cloudy and there is some diacetyl (which seems to vary from batch to batch) but other than that, it's a decent bitter. I bet this on cask this would be quite good.

Pours a hazed straw yellow with a medium white head. Decent lacing.
Aromas of lemon zest, pale and toasted malts.
The toasted malts come through on the taste with a touch of citrus. Biscuity and sweet, nice combo.
Mouthfeel was thin and watery, good carbonation.
Overall a decent session brew and easy drinker.

about a 10oz pour from a shared pitcher
A - straw colored, fairly clear. small amount of white bubbly film which came and went at random.
S - not much here, toasted grains and a tiny bit of lemon rind, faint crackery malt.
T - about the same, lots of grains (but not cheap adjuncts), subtle citrus and crackers.
M - light body, carbonation was tight and lively. finishes very clean and crisp, refreshing.
D - kept the majority of people at our party happy, was a god thirst quencher until the IPA and stout showed up.

On tap at the BruRoom Brew Pub.
Poured a lighter golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of grains, citrus and a matly sweetness. Tastes of the same graininess with some sweetness. Light lacing left on the glass.

This was another somewhat unusual offering at the always enjoyable Bru Rm. It had a light amber color with a solid off-white head and great lacing. I thought it had a wonderful sour almond-vanilla aroma. It's lightly carbonated with a flavor that mimics the aroma, kind of different, refreshing. More nuttiness and a deep biscuit-oat background. Very interesting and drinkable. I'm a little surprised at some of the negative reviews just because it's light. I pick up lots of neat flavor here.

One delicious beer that is always served very fresh. The color is a very sumptuous dark golden yellow with a nice short white head. The aroma is a very sweet malty smell with a hint of hops. The taste is phenomenal. It is sweet and malty but light. The mild hops add to the complex malty flavors that lead to a genuinly delicious and refreshing beer. The fact that it is usually served on tap really makes it fresh and delicious. I could drink this all night, especially on the Happy Hour on Thursday nights. Well wirth the money and a really refreshing beer.

Poured out a straw gold color with a whisp of white froth. Tiny bit of sullen malt in the nose, slight woody characteristic, but really nothing to speak of here. The taste was like watered down macro brew. If you're here with people who don't like beer, this may be the least offensive option. If you like beer, it's the opposite.

I made the notable mistake of having this AFTER the damn good stout, which was damn good indeed. Did not intend of staying long enough to drink this, or would have planned it differently. Don't make my mistake, cuz this is not a bad beer.
It is blonde, with little head. the appearance is not making me glad I ordered it. The smell is OK (gotta get that stout outta my mouth before trying this). Light malts come up, not too much, no hops of note. The taste is pretty good. Has good carbonation, feels nice, doesn't linger too long.
Standing alone, this is a decent enough beer that I would drink more of. But they have at least 3 better beers here, so the drinkability suffers.

Ugh.
The beer is a flaxen gold, with a thin meager ring of head edging the glass.
The aroma is diacetyl butterscotch.
The flavor is diacetyl butterscotch. Tastes like a butterfinger candy bar, with the same sweetness, and perhaps a lackluster toasted malt presence. No hops. No complexity whatsoever. Just sweetness. I can imagine that this would be a good beer for your macro buddies, since it's so candy-like. I thought it completely sucked.
