An unfiltered and 100% bottle-conditioned version of 90 Minute IPA that's dry-hopped with Palisade, Amarillo, Simcoe, Cascade, CTZ, and Willamette hops. Brewed to honor the Rogue Gallery in Portland, Maine, who will also be releasing a DFH designed clothing line in the summer of '09.

Okay, this one's a bit of a wildcat. Acquired this bottle free as a gift from a kickass bartender (name-dropped below). This one's from 2010 (bottle stamped '2010A'). 750ml of 'we'll-see-what-happpens'.
Poured with some height to create a nice buttermilk colored head of loose bubbles that sat an inch-and-a-half high and has retained pretty nicely. Some nice stick on the walls of the snifter. Two snifters, in total. The first pour has great clarity, the second a hair hazier. Both sport a tremendous reddish amber glow. Nice lookin' beer.
First few sniffs, and I'm getting a lively resinous hop aroma with a slight vinous white-wine tanginess. Smells pretty crisp with a light caramel maltiness. Floral hops with a peachy fruit character tagalong. Picking up a little lemon and, still, that white grape.
Woah! What was this once? And, what has it become? I'm sure the hops were wacky hot fresh, but this year-and-a-half old bottle has great hop punctuality and character. Sweet up front changing to bitter in the middle and the finish is spice and some lingering booze. Let's go over this again. Turbinado sugar pairing with a pound cake malt chewiness. Some more pit fruits like peaches or apricots, and a smack of lime in the finish. The finish also supports some tongue-jolt of tartness. There's a woody/floral hop feature that is wonderfully complex and assertive. Bottle-conditioning did 90 Minute wonders! This is remarkable!
Tremendous mouthfeel. Swishy in the mouth. Low on carb, but it's there just fine. The presence of alcohol is up there and appreciated. Max points on smoothness and body.
I'm seriously blown away. Of the other top-o'-the-line Imperial IPAs that I've had, this one's certainly up there. I may not have had the best of the best yet, but this one has left its mark. Not cool that I can't get this easily, if at all, anymore. Highly recommended. Better than 90 Minute, for sure. Cheers! (And, thanks Dash!)

L: Clear amber body with a 2 finger eggshell head
S: Malt forward
T: Taste is way more explosive than the nose. Plenty of sweet malt balanced by resinous hops. Notes are sweet toffee, caramel, orange, and pine
F: Medium bodied with a dry finish. Alcohol warms the chest.
O: A little too sweet for me, but otherwise the flavor is excellent.

Slightly cloudy orange/gold pour with a foamy off-white head. Big citrus and grain aroma. Taste has a very mild bitterness at the beginning with flavors of orange rind, herbs, mango, grass, and a hint of wet bread. Bitterness becomes stronger as the beer warms but is never overpowering. Full bodied with moderate carbonation.
