Poured from the bottle a dark, clear copper-orange color with two fingers of rich off-white head. Nice amount of sticky lacing left behind.
Hoppy aroma of grapefruit and pine along with caramel mats.
Tasted of caramel malts upfront with an overload of sweet syrupy notes of honey, lighter piney hops and a big boozy bite.
Medium bodied with a moderate carbonation.
Too sweet and syrupy and caramel malt-drive for me as an IIPA. The 22oz bottle was too much. Twelve ounces would have been a bit better.

Poured from the bottle into a FunkWerks globe glass.
A real nice amber orange body, pretty texbook, with a big four finger head off the pour. Quite soapy looking with a light tan color and swiss cheese appearance, but lots of retention. Some slow rising carbonation, maybe a little hazy, lots of obvious yeast chunks and floaties, but otherwise pretty solid.
Nice grainy sweet malts, with a mellow hop presence. Hints of earth and grass come out a bit, but this is pretty tiny for hops on the nose it's quite closed.
Palate is a big thick rush of sugars. Thick oil slicking and syrupy hop juice, with lots of sweetness. Coating the palate with lots of oil and stickiness, hints of pine, but lots of white sugar also. Malt is completely indistinguishable.
Overall this is just way too sweet for my tastes, with hardly any classic aromatics or balanced flavor. Unfortunately it's also too much of a chore to finish a big bottle of this at 10.8% it's big and feels like it, but not in an enjoyable way.

Pours a clear copper color with an extremely dense, lingering cream head that slowly dissipates, leaving thick lacing.
Soft citrus fruit and doughy, sweet caramel malt form the initial aroma. Grapefruit, pineapple, and mango create a scent reminiscent of sweettarts.
Booze and caramel provide the backbone of the flavor, which strangely finishes with a burst of citrus, eventually ending slightly bitter. Fairly sweet malt throughout is countered by lime, grapefruit pith, and mango. The finish is a touch dry and toasty.
Body is on the full side, and carbonation is moderate, preventing the beer from being cloying. There's an associated alcohol burn that is offputting.
Fairly citrusy beer, with heavy malt presence. It's boozy, and the hops just seem kinda weird.

this is a punishing beer, no doubt about that. it pours a pretty average looking bronzey orange color with a sudsy white head without much retention. the aroma is oily hops, maybe even hop oils, sweet pale malt, and a whole mess of booze. the flavor i think is pretty good for a beer this strong. the hops are so intense the beer takes on a sweet character. bittersweet in the finish, if it were possible to ovrdose on hops, this would be the ticket. gets real alcoholic as it warms up. the feel is also pretty solid for a beer this big. good carbonation keeps it lighter than it is, and the full body isnt too filling. overall a cool series of beer, but this one is just kind of like a playground bully, its a lot of huffing and puffing going on, could definitely kick your ass, but remains highly unrefined. ya know?

This poured out as a nice copper color with a white head on top. Light retention and a light lacing. The smell of the beer is hoppy, there is a very subtle malt aroma. The taste is hoppy with a sweet malt flavor upfront. The mouthfeel is creamy, decent carbonation and smooth. Overall this is a decent imperial IPA. There are better options out there.

On Tap in Philly.
The Incredible Hop Imperial India Pale has a nice look to it. Bright gold with some bronze tint within. A good amount of off white foam rises up leaving an inch cap. Some squiggly lace patterns left on the glass. Off the bat, this smells sweet and boozy. A good amount of earthy piney hops in there as well, but the malt addition is large. The 10.8% is up front too, unmistakable. As expected, the malt is driven up to the max, leaving for a sweet DIPA, the hops are muted and the booze comes through in the finish. Semi hot, with no hops in the aftertaste. Body is medium, carb is there and helps some. All in all, not something I will be going back for, but willing to try other things from this brewery.

Appearance is brownish-copper with half a finger of head. There is the definite presence of hops in the nose. The taste is dominated by a super hop blast that comes upfront. While this offering remains bitter throughout, the bitterness actually wanes on the finish - quite unusual. In between all the hop bitterness, a faint hint of malt sweetness creeps in. Also, there is a residual alcohol burn on the finish.
This is a nice effort, but even big, over-the-top beers need to have some sense of balance.

A 16 oz bottle.
Pours pretty nicely. Dark clear orange with good white head and lacing.
Nose is musty and brandy.
Taste is musty which I find strange for this style. Also a good dose of apricot and malt. Overall pretty warming due to the high alcohol content as well.
This beer has average mouth feel. I have had many better. I had trouble getting past the earthy musty taste. The rest was OK.

Had it at Gracie's Place in a bomber and shared it with a buddy, the appearance was not very consistent with other DIPA's just slightly darker than wet straw. The aroma of the hops is great, very pungent but the actual flavor does not stay true to the smell. A quick burst of hop flavor possibly amarillo but it fades very quickly. The aftertaste is good though it lingers slightly but not overwhelming, just a hint to remind you of the initial smell. Overall not bad but it is very light for being a DIPA

On tap at hops and pie. I didn't want to pay $10 for a bomber but I was still curious so I bought a 3oz glass. Thank God I didn't order anything larger. Dark amber color, good head. Smells sort of hoppy but also malty, uh-oh. The taste was very hoppy but was beat down but a syrupy sweetness and a malty flavor I did not like. I'm sorry but most brewers should not bother brewing IPA's or DIPA's unless they can make a true West Coast style IPA. Everything else is just wack.
