A – Yellow with some gold. Had a large head which took some time to settle
S-First aroma was the sour, little funky. Citrus/lemon aroma with spice and a hint of oak.
T-Similar to the smell. Sour/tart, with the hint of lemon. Soft finish
M- nice carbonation. Very light feel.
O – Wonderful, all around. Great for a hot afternoon on the porch. I will certainly drink this again

Bomber poured into a tulip.
A-Bubbly dark gold with a finger and half of cream white head that fades to a crown. Visible lacing.
S-Smells very light and refreshing, fruity sweet, hints of grain, coriander and fresh grass.
T-Wow, very light and refreshing hops followed by a banana caramel malt sweetness. Some light spicy herbal notes and straw in the middle.
M-Medium bubbly mouthfeel, very champagne-like, smooth.
O-I've been trying more saisons this summer and this might be my favorite. This is a must try if you like saisons.

Great beer. Opened it and could hear the carbonation, very bubbly. Very smooth to drink from start to finish. This is definitely a beer to drink again and again.
The smell was sweet and the first sip was as good as last. I could see drinking this on a hot summer day while hanging out with friends.

A: Hazy, golden-amber in color; head was thick and white, with fair retention and decent lacing.
S: Complex, fairly strong without overpowering the nose. Grain presence is slight. There's a mix of several fruity aromas, and I can't identify all of them (but grapes, pears, and citrus are all present, and maybe a whiff of banana. Spicy notes of white pepper and more are also in there.
T: This ones skips right over the sweet malts. There's a brief moment of dry, grain flavor, then the tartness hits and overwhelms the palate like a crashing wave -- I detect tart grapes, bergamot, and grapefruit, the last of these becoming more pronounced in the finish, even taking on the bitter flavor of grapefruit rind. As if fades, just dry bitterness remains.
M: Crisp, fairly-well carbonated, but with a touch of astringency in the dry finish.
O: A moderately strong-flavored beer that would likely pair well with a full-bodied French cheese (memo to me for next time...) The dry, bitter finish detracted a little from the experience, but overall it was worth trying.

Appearance: Cloudy; orangish body with a good sized head
Aroma: Spicy; malty; citrusy notes
Taste: tart fruit and spicy hops in the start and mid; finishes fairly dry
Remarks: A little too dry and bitter for me.
Did not score A, T, S, M at that time; disregard those scores

Bottle poured into a 16oz Goose Island Glass
Appearance: golden yellow, with a solid, thin, white head, and the lacing is consistently well when tilting the glass.
Smell: very fruity, earthly, yeasty.
Taste: fruity, lemon, apples, bananas, mango, pears, blended nicely with the earthy yeasts. Not bitter at all. It goes down very smooth.
Mouthfeel: the mouthfeel is thin and highly carbonated.
Overall, I think this is a great beer because its blended very well. It has a sour component, not really bitter, but it is also very sweet. It's so bubbly like drinking champagne, but it tastes better than champagne. This would be a great beer for a hot summer day or for new years.

bottle into Duvel glass
appearance: pale cloudy golden yellow, 1 finger white head
smell: smells like the barnyard funk, earthy/fruity sweet nectar, grapes, coriander, orange peel, pineapple, citrus, exotic spices, one crazy smelling beer that's for sure
taste: very dry and sweet, has a tart fruitiness to it but it's very well balanced, drinks very smoothly. Getting a lot of apple and grape, with some more subtle citrus/grapefruit notes.
mouthfeel: pretty decent carbonation, has the feel of wine/champagne more so than beer
overall: Haven't had many Saisons, but this one is absolutely amazing and is so well balanced, this would be my first choice for best representation of the style.

Appearance - Quite literally, it does not get any better than this as far as Saisons go. Impressive bright, white head. Very active. Golden yellow. Slight haze. Very appealing.
Smell - Strong lemon peel, mango, candied apple, vanilla and plenty of coriander. Very zesty. Slightly skunk, which always works great with a Saison. Nice dry Saaz characteristic. Nice bready, yeast aroma. Refreshing.
Taste - Nice, clean lemon notes, pineapple, grapefruit, bitter herbs, very floral with flowers and marigolds, mango, green apple, grass/ bitter grains, orange peel. Beautiful use of pale malts. Nice clean sugars.
Mouthfeel - Very balanced. You can feel this all over the palate. Crisp and a wonderful use of carbonation. Dry and bubbly, like champagne. Amazing.
Overall - Excellent Saison. BOOM. Brasserie Dupont nails it. Easily one of their best.

Before this, I've only had experience with Ommegang's Hennepin, and a local Saison.
A - Appearance seems very light with an almost unfiltered or either highly carbonated look to it
S - I never understood the term "farmhouse ale" until I gave this a whiff. WOW, You can really get a whiff of funky leather and what one in a rural area like mine would consider a farmhouse-y like scent!
T - Very, very light on the tongue, I wouldn't say overly carbonated, but it's very very bubbly on the tongue. Lots of funk lingers on the tongue after tasting, I can't quite put where the other tastes are coming from, but it's very light and very refreshing.
M - Incredibly light and bubbly, very refreshing
O - The best Saison I've tasted so far, I'm just upset that a style that's so gorgeous is so difficult to find varieties of in Pennsylvania!

Part of b-day bash of saisons.
Very different than the Am. versions also sampled. Subtler and also more thirst quenching.
Soft overall aroma. Less sweet. Some fruit and a stronger pale malt base.
Huge full white head. Very pale body. Thick head and lots of lacing.
More malt forward with a moderately paced dryness that grows to quite prominent and seems to come directly from the strong tartness. Closest to a lemon taste.
Full and effervescent and yet smooth.
More subtle, but also rather complex. Really a good thirst quencher.
