Explosive carbonation resembling champagne. Huge white rocky head rests on straw-yellow base. The lacing is beautiful and thick.
The aroma contains similar champagne-esque attributes complemented with grapes, lemons and spices.
Initially light citrus flavors mingle with spices (maybe white pepper) layered over a light base of malt and even some wheat. A crisp, clean, lightly hopped finish sets me up for many more.
Amazingly light mouthfeel without being watery or understated.
Exceptionally drinkable. Non-craft brew drinkers who haven't tried Belgian beer might like this. Well worth a try and certainly worth having several in stock on a continual basis. Reminds me of New Glarus' Spotted Cow except more complex and significantly better.

11.2oz. A darker gold, kind of orangy pour. Two fingers of fluffy white that really retained.
Aroma, citrus zest, barnyard hay. Coriander, some light grainy sweet malt.
Taste, Quite malty up front. Caramel. Very nice yeasty spiciness. Corriander again. Some herbal earthy Italian like spice. Just a light clove. Finish fairly dry.
Heavy side of light body. Creamy carb and mouthfeel. This drinks really nicely. Belgian brews are so hit and miss for me, this one was definetely good. Worth trying.

2.012 on cork. Had 5/2013.
This was fantastic. A complete surprise, as it came from a friend (a civilian—aka not a beer geek) who received it in a bet a year ago. Style bias perhaps but this was no where on my radar and now I’m mildly obsessed with getting another bottle of it.
This pours a hazy golden with tight white foaming. It has a surprisingly spicy aroma, peppery and floral. There’s almost a muted hop presence with a herbaceous floral note on it. The flavor has more of the spicy characteristic. Really pleasing and terrifically effervescent. I found it ended with the characteristic Dupont yeasty floral notes & rounded finish. I was pleasantly surprised by this.
Don’t be fooled by the “blonde ale” on the label—this is anything but your run of the mill (bland) blonde ale.

750ml bottle: Pulled the cork from this and found that it said 2006 on it. It should be interesting to see how it has held up after almost 7 years. It opened with a fairly loud "POP". It pours a fairly clear, darker golden color. There was a small white head on it that didn’t linger long or leave much lacing. The aroma is good, but a bit subdued. Definitely yeasty and bready nose. Lighter aromas of spice, banana and lemon. Maybe a touch of Brett. The taste is very good. It is extremely smooth. Bready, lightly spiced, hint of lemon. A very small hint of sourness. Very nice!
