On tap at Deschutes Public House Bend OR 12.29.11, $5 for 10 oz. snifter. A blend of oak aged Mirror Pond and Green Lakes, aged 14 months and dose with Lactobacillus.

One finger off white head with rose colored noted, small bubbles, medium dissipation, resulting in uneven broken ring around edge of glass, no visible carbonation visible on light orange amber body. Good dose of funk in the nose, stone fruit/sour cherries, a bit of mustiness. Taste is stone fruit with healthy slap of musty horse blanket, more sour than tart, nicely balanced. Mouthfeel a bit on the light side of medium, good effervescence leading to quite dry finish. Really nice, The Usual Suspects in Beevana would certainly like this. Along with Todd, er Tart, of Darkness, one of the best sours/wilds I've had this year. A slow sipper to be sure, but certainly worth savoring. Really nice, worth seeking out while its available.
