Despite this being a gluten free beer, it is a high quality pale ale. Pours a light copper hue with gold highlights, decent head that has good retention, average lace, good carbonation.
Really cereal and grain driven on the nose (not sure what grains they are using - probably brown rice-, but it works), very spiced up, a little vegetal, hints of hops and citrus.
Very fine flavors focused on a dry grain core with hints of maple, baking spice, hops, and citrus. Really dry despite that hint of maple.
Texture is velvety and rich with good grip and nice stuffing. Really enjoyable finish. Lots of acidity to round things out.
Truth be told, I like this better than their Mirror Pond. It's a solid pale ale with a lot of character and no gluten. Pretty interesting!

Hazy straw colour with a small white head. Good head retention.
Bright, fresh, spicy aroma with some citrus hops. Appealing.
That's gluten free? Bright, crisp, spicy hops with some light citrus flavour. No malt. Clean, crisp and tasty.
Medium light body with moderate carbonation. Good.
A solid ale which would be great even if it wasn't gluten free. Nice.
