Appearance: Deep and dark black with some ruby/brown muddiness to it; nice tan head and some good lacing:
Smell: Grapefruit, hops, chocolate and coffee. Tons of dark malts with a nice low level of roast (usually I hate roast)
Taste: Big hops with a secondary base of coffee and chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Nice and creamy; appropriately mild level of carbonation
Drinkability: Goes down easier than any other black IPA I have tried; probably the best of this style I have tried thus far.
