A: Clear bronze amber in color. Pours 2 fingers of head and left nice sheets of sticky lacing.

S: Pretty powerful hops aroma, not too overpowering though. Has nice piney hops with some hints of sweet apple and roasted malts.

T: AS the nose leads, nice piney hops with a sweet almost tart bitter finishe. You reall get the sweet malts and nice bitter finish and lingering aftertaste.

M: Medium bodied beer with decent carbonation, really rich and almost creamy. Great bitter taste that lingers well.

O: I can never get enough of the bitter hops so this was right up my alley. Great IPA offering, nice bitter bite, will be getting again... very well priced. Keep it up Deschutes.

Looks like an IPA, bordering on amber color, nice off white head.

Heavy pine and citrus with some whiffs of cerealy malt on the nose.

Pretty good, definitely a mouthful of flavor. Would be a nice compliment/combatant for some stinky blue cheese.

A little heavy on the tongue, with a bite of boozey aftertaste. Despite that, I hadn't noticed the ABV on the bottle, and was really surprised it was so high when I saw 10.6% here, so that says something. Actually I think I'm starting to believe it.

I'd drink it again with some potent cheese, but one glass is enough.
