On tap at the PDX pub served in a 10 oz. pilsner flute, Mt. St. Helens Keller Bier is a very slightly hazed gold with a small white skim and a creamy, thick collar that leaves decent lace. 33 IBU.

Smell is very soft, sweet malts, grass, and a touch of vinegar.

Taste is very nice, a great pils. Bready, clean grain, leafy hops, very balanced and smooth. Simple but super satisfying, with a nice lingering grainy aftertaste reminiscent of corn pops but not that sweet, perfectly balanced by a firm bitterness. Hands down the best Pils I've had in memory.

Mouthfeel is very creamy and smooth, with a crisp finish and lighter body.

Drinkability is high, I really loved this. While it seemed awefully pale and clear for a keller bier, I've only had a few, and the fact is, this is just an excellant beer, period.
