Classic looking Bruin - murky burnt caramel capped with a brief khaki fizz that settles down to form a neat collar that actually retains from start to finish. Pretty good amount of alcohol oil as well. The second pour shows something entirely different - thick head that, again, fades fast but forms a beautiful cap on the beer that laces as well as you could expect.

Extremely acidic... fresh vanilla oak qualities, tart cherries, plum, maybe a bit of mushy berries, the alcohol character plays an apparent role without offending any other part of the beer... orange flesh.

Mmm... tart cherry, ripe raisin, banana peel (?), fruity tannin like brightness, not quite as dominantly sour as I have heard from some, but it is sure smooth... a delicious beer indeed.

Lovely stuff.
