This beer was sort or a let down to me, I was expecting more hops, but on the other hand this is a good beer.
The bottles are not sold in texas yet, but the sales rep was able to get me one from his car that was quite cold.
The nose was great , the color was a nice clear golden ale.
The head was pretty big on it, lasted throughout the glass.
This reminded me of a mild hoppy bass english ale than an american pale ale. I could of used more hopps.
This beer is a nice beer, and it serves its niche, but I may not buy this again just not my style.

12oz bottle dated best by 09/05/13
A: Pours a clear deep golden color with one finger of fizzy straw-colored head that dissipates to a spotty film with moderate lacing.
S: Sweet malt and earthy hops predominate. Moderately wheaty/oaty aroma, but overall a crisp and clean smell.
T: A little bite from the hops, but very little persisting bitterness. Lots of bready malt, almost tastes like oats/wheat. Tons of it. Some earthy hop character, but the primary flavor here is the malt. A very clean beer -- it's nothing that it doesn't advertise. A little bit of persisting flavor from the strong malt character.
M: Reasonable level of carbonation and a medium malt body gives this beer a lot of drinkability. Very little in this brew beyond the strong malt flavors (which aren't really my thing, but which are fine) to keep one from tearing right through these things.
O: A good pale ale. I feel like the bready malt is a little strong in flavor and impedes drinkability, but imparts flavor beyond the hops and slows the drinker down a bit.
