The atmosphere here is amazing- the concept of a train station turned brewery is very nice- a lot of old style atmosphere and history in addition to the exposed brewing equipment.
Quality is very nice- everything here is good and essentially what I expected quality wise.
I hate to put a hex on the service of an establishment but I wasn't granted with knowledgeable service by anyone here. Our waitress was unclear as to the guest taps and specials and as a result I missed out two of their beer specials. Little assistance with the menu and highly disorganized table service.
Selection is good from the standpoint of it all being good beer- but gets low marks for offering little outside of in-house brews.
Food was very solid- I have a great sandwich and fries.
Very reasonable pricing.

Atmosphere- Kinda kitschy and folksy. Feels like there should be doilies on the tables. Not really my taste but it is clean and uniform.
Quality-The beers are fine. Recently (see last 2-3 months) some of the recipes have changed and I don't really see most of them moving in a direction I love. The BA Collaborative Evil was truly awful.
Service- It's always been pretty good. They misplaced my credit card once but found it after a few minutes.
Selection- Pretty standard but somehow I usually feel I only have a few choices.
Food- Meh it's standard pub fare and a bit bland.

Went here the night before DLD.
The atmosphere is that of a family restaurant, which I expected. There was a decent bar area filled with locals, some of whom, to my horror, were drinking MILLER LITE!
They had quite a few of their beers available at the time, and I believe there were 12 included in the sampler, as well as some guest taps.
The quality of the beer was very underwhelming. In general, the hoppy beers and brown ales/porters were good, whereas everything else left a lot to be desired. My ratings ranged from C- to A-. The .357 Imperial Pilsner that was being special-released that day was a flop.
The food was pretty good but nothing to write home about. Pretty typical for a family restaurant/brewpub.
Service was decent, although the waiter seemed a bit confused about which beer was which. At a brewpub, you've got to know what's currently on tap.
So this is the great Flossmoor, is it? I must say I sort of agree with the complainers on this one. It's an above average brewpub, but definitely not a great one. Seems their previous brewer, Todd, may have been putting out some better beer. I'd believe it considering he's doing great stuff at FiftyFifty now.

Overall we were disappointed with Flossmoor. We went for lunch on a Friday and the place fairly busy. The food selection was good and portions were good-sized.
We ordered the beer sampler and received a dozen tastes - which is where the problems started. At the end there wasn't a single beer that we would have wanted a full pint of. Some weren't representative of their name (the brown tasted like a porter) and others tasted like the brightness was wrong - usually on the flat side. None of them were overly cool and many were on the hoppy side - and not necessarily in a good way.
I keep reading all the good reviews of this place and am wondering what I missed. For my money I'd rather drive another ten miles and go to Three Floyds in Munster.
