Appearance: Lovely fresh apple cider appearance sort of like muddy water. Head was small when brought too me, but lacing looked awesome.
Aroma: Sour apple
Taste: Caramel with sour apple. A little mouth puckering sourness but very drinkable. Leaves a lingering aftertaste that you don't want to go away.
Mouth feel: Not too heavy not too light perfect.
Overall: I would have this one again without thinking twice about it. Not as good as fullers but if you are ever in the area give it a shot.

Gravity pour at Jake Melnicks into a taster stange.

A - Nice persistent tan foam that settles to a thin cap and thicker collar, with tons of lacing left behind. Opaque dark brown body.

S - Very toasty and sharp grain character, with a slight metallic note. Fruity English ale yeast, biscuit, and light toffee. Touch of herbaceous hop character.

T - I like the taste significantly more as it eschews the metallic note found in the aroma. Fruity ale yeast, sweet and toasted cereal grain malts, nuts, and a hint of cocoa. Herbal hop bitterness rounds things out.

M - Smooth and creamy cask texture, lower carbonation, medium body, no alcohol, and a crisp, dry, finish.

D - An enjoyable take on the style, and probably the most "authentic" cask beer of the evening. The nose is a bit harsh, but I could imagine having an Imperial pint or two of this one.
