This brew pours a small head of off-white colored bubbles that left a fair lacing and an orange colored body. It had a very smooth light hop flavor with little discernable aroma. This was the least enjoyable brew from my visit at Flossmoor Station, a brewpub everyone should try and visit.

Quaffable, fresh as on tap wheat ale, obtained a couple of months ago on Chicago trip. Brilliant yellow with a small head, and lace. Appropriately carbonated. Neutral aroma, average and smooth mouthfeel. Mid mouthfeel cheese buffeted by understated bitterness on finish.

Much thanks for this bottle to my buddy Richard.
A: Hazy apricot as it pours. a somewhat subdued white head eventually comes from the body of the beer. In the glass it is a hazy dirty orange amber.
S: The first smell has a lot of caramel in it. As well as some sweet fruity noted. I am almost picking up a hint of pineapple juice. Not like fresh pineapple, but the canned juice. Almost a hint of grapefruit. Perhaps some berry notes, and a little of a wine like smell. Crackers round out the finish.
T: Some like bread notes. There is a little herbal bitterness in the finish. Perhaps a little light citrus. Not a lot happening here.
M: Very light and crisp feeling. Carbonation is heavy, and there is a slight oily residue in the finish.
O: I'm not really impressed. Most the malt flavors seem muted, not a lot of hop flavor is coming through, and the bitterness seems unbalanced. Overall it seems a bit boring. I suppose it could be a decent summer beer, but still plenty of other brews in the world with similar style but more character.

Pours a hazy orange color, bright and light. Little head, but a decent ring of foam stick around, and there's some solid lacing.
Smell is barely detectable. Some very faint light wheat, a bit of grassy hops, and yeast. But not much there at all, and what is there isn't impressive.
Taste is a little better, with some vegetable hops. Finish turns to an unpleasant watery bitterness. I don't pick up much wheat.
Mouthfeel is light-bodied, medium carbonation. Could use some more bubbles, but not bad. Finish is watery and thin.
Meh. Everything about this beer is pretty blah. Okay, it's a pale wheat ale, so my expectations aren't real high, but this one still fails to meet them.

Despite a vigorous pour, I only get a marginal head on top of this hazy orange-amber beer. From the nose, there's a moderate amount of grainy wheat malt, but not much more. Taste pretty follows: very grainy malt, with only mild hoppiness to make things more interesting. Yeast character offers a little bit of fruitiness, but nothing else.
Disappointing beer.

Bomber poured into a tulip; no dating on the bottle, but lists it as recipe 333. Very hazy dark yellow body, with about a one-finger off-white head. The head dissipates quickly and leaves very little lacing.
Nice aroma of citrus, featuring more lemon than orange. Fairly characteristic wheat aroma for the grain, and just a hint of hops.
The flavors do not blend quite as well in the flavor as they did in the aroma. Still, characteristic for the style with the wheat and citrus flavors, but the hops do not compliment as well as I would have liked. Not bad, but not impressive either.
Very thin mouthfeel overall, which does detract a bit. Not a bad effort. Probably need to work on this recipe a bit for bottling to take it up a notch or two.
