this is german down to the crossed T's. but not the greatest of the rauchbier i've had. still worth trying out if you like the style. this pour was beautiful golden and clear one white. about a one and half fingers. nose is smoke and dextrose. the palate opens up to a nice smoke note not much more intense than that of a good pils with a good smokey munich note but its more a coating and a nice apple pie. the palate although fades as the beer sits. and the longevity is extremely short. nice beer for a picnic though. awesome label.
