This pours a golden-tan color with a pleasant toasted biscuit aroma. The flavor comes across crisp, with enough bittering to make it interesting and to contrast with the lightly toasted malt backbone. There’s a honeyed sweetness that emerges as it warms. A real easy drinker.

From 02/18/12 notes. Had on tap at Rattle N Hum in NYC.

a - Pours a clear bright yellow color with one inch of bright white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of grains, toasted malts, bready malts, and some wheat. Very bready, and a bit bland.

t - Tastes of grains, toasted malts, fruity malts, lightly sweet, bready malts, and some wheat. Better then the nose, with some sweet fruity malts to it.

m - Medium body and low carbonation, with a super smooth and creamy body. Very easy to drink.

o - Overall I though this was a decent ESB with a great mouthfeel to it. Verye asy to drink, though the nose is quite bland. Worth trying but probably wouldn't seek it out again.

Reviewed on 1/18/2010. Growler from Big Z Beverage. Pours a clear deep orange with a small white head. Aroma of floral hops, light fruits, caramel malt, toasted malt. Flavor of grainy, toasted malt with a fruity, sweet finish. Pretty decent ESB and certainly very drinkable. Well done!
