A clear and golden look with a crackling white head and fast moving carbonation, hardly any lace.
Smells incredibly malty (a bit grainy-dry) and fruity (banana, pear, apple), real doughy and a bit buttery. A spicy and slightly sharp note rounds off the nose.
The taste is just as full and rich and finishes pretty hoppy with a bitter after-taste, while malt is all over the place. Alcohol creeps up on you.
Medium to full-bodied with a creamy and supple mouthfeel. Carbonation is on the low side (which isn't a bad thing).
An impressive and powerful brew, a bit lacking in depth or complexity and maybe a little too sweet, but very delicious.
