This beer poured to form a thick off-white head that slowly diminishes over a cloudy yellow brew, appearing inviting as an old world style wheat. Clove and spice with some banana esters appear in the nose. Light wheat dough accents citrus as yeast permeates the aroma.
Initially I detect a light sweet-tart wheat malt flowing through as the soft carbonation fizzes out to reveal another wheat malt flavor slightly sweet and flavorful.
With this flavor and a medium to full body and creamy palate Ramstein Blonde is easily a favorite in my opinion, from a person who first tasted a German wheat in the early 1970's.

A - As expected it has a yellow hazy tint in color yet as others stated the head fades rather quickly to a mild lace ring.
S - A nice bit of fruity yeasts, clove, sweet malts, and a bit of coriander.
T - I do get some blond tones of mild grains and sweet malts along side of some mild Hefe tones of lemon, clove and wheat.
M - Medium yet balanced yeast tones.
Overall I will seek out their other beers (maybe the dunkel next) since this one impressed me a bit.

This beer poured as a lightly hazy yellow color, the head didn't last very long at all. The smell was yeasty and had some citrus on the nose. The taste was of lemons, clove and banana. The mouthfeel had plenty of carbonation that dances on the tongue. Overall it's got a lot of wheat and blonde elements to it. It's an interesting brew, glad I tried it but isn't something I'd seek out in the future.

First had: on tap at the Garden State Craft Brewers Guild 15th Annual Beer Festival, USS New Jersey, Camden, NJ
Poured a pale, peachy yellow with a small white head that didn't linger too long. Yeasty aroma, more funk than I'm used to with the style. Typical wheaty texture on the tongue, yeasty, bready, hay, some sharp hops in the taste towards the finish, and more of that unpleasant funk throughout. Pretty bland. Light-bodied and not very drinkable at all.

Samples at the High Point brewery. Pours hazy golden hue. Aroma is of , banana, apples, spices and yeast. Taste is similar to aroma. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. Long lasting, fruity - spicy finish. Classic, tasty hefeweizen.

Ramstein Blonde Wheat Beer has a hazy yellow body with a solid white head that has OK retention and leaves behind some decent lacing. Fairly accurate hefeweizen look.
The aroma has a grainy malt scent to it, with touches of fruit and a hint of clove.
The grain flavor is probably the most powerful, followed by fruity flavors that include both banana and green apple. A muted clove is after that. I would really like the yeast to shine a little bit more in this one to be honest.
The mouthfeel lacks the slightly creamy fullness that a great hefeweizen should have, but it is OK.
Overall, Ramstein Blonde Wheat Beer didn't really impress me. I felt the hefeweizen yeast flavors were a little toned down. I do dig that High Point specializes in German brews, however, and I will continue to try anything of theirs that I can get my hands on.

Pours with just 1-2 fingers of white head over a fairly clear golden body, with plenty of effervescence. Head fades quickly, and leaves no lacing.
Good aromas - leads with sweet clove spice and blends to fried plantains and yeast.
Flavor is OK - lemony, earthy, and just a touch of clove/spices. Good ripe banana comes through, especially as it warmed. Pleasant yeasty quality. Touch of pepper as it warmed as well.
Mouthfeel is fantastic - creamy, with a great level of carbonation for the style.
Very drinkable... Nice flavors - maybe a touch too lemony which doesn't pull me back immediately for yet another sip, but it's not pushing me away by any means.

12 oz, poured into a tall weizen glass.
Ideal color for a blonde wheat beer, beautiful and golden. Not much head to speak of - it's straw in color, formed roughly a 1 cm head, and did not last even a minute.
Smells good - I enjoy a beer that I don't have to spend too much time sleuthing, and this is a prime example. You get a nice combination of apple, orange, wheatgrass, clove and banana that are well-balanced for your nose. Simple but just right.
Tastes as good as it smells, and does not disappoint - confirmation of all that you smelled, well-balanced. Go figure that a brewery from New Jersey could represent with such a decent beer. I liked it from start to finish.
Mouthfeel was good - nice level of carbonation, good in the way that all flavors hit the tongue and palate nicely, and finished well.
Drinkability was great - I could see myself having many more of these as a thirst-quenching solution. Not so much ABV that it knocks you on your keister, and it went very well with my chicken quesadilla. Looking forward to my next offering from this brewery.

Into a pint glass, poured a cloudy golden/straw with two fingers of full white, good head retention, and modest lacing. Modest amount of visible carbonation as well. The nose possessed everything you'd come to expect from a good hefe: clove, bubble gum, banana, and even some maltiness. The taste confirmed the aroma; banana/clove dissolving to some malt balance mid-palate, followed by a semi-dry finish. Modest carbonation combined with a full body made for a nicely smooth sensation. Perfect for sessioning. Nicely done.

A - pours a somewhat cloudy bright golden color with barely a fingers worth of head and that quckly dissipates.
S - typical hefeweizen aroma. Lots of sweetness. Hints of clove, bananna and apple.
T - follows the nose pretty much. Sweet with lots of fruit esters and has a long sweet pear sort of finish to it.
M - light and delicate. Higher in carb.
D - nice beer to pair with some light summer fair. Nothing mind blowing but a decent brew none the less.

Here's a hefeweizen where the wheat beer swirl is a must: if you want that hazy straw orange--not to mention better flavor--then give that bottle the run-around after you've decanted the majority. Unfortunately, I still got an underwhelming head, with average lacing and retention.
Aroma is, vaguely, of clove, spice and ripe fruit.
Flavor is pretty good. This is definitely a hefeweizen, in line with some of the lesser offerings from Germany. It's still a good, drinkable beer though. There's lots of banana and nice bread and yeast flavor, but the sweetness does seem a bit artificial. The brewery might want to fix that. All in all, not a bad beer. Light, but there's some malty substance. Definitely of the thirst quencher variety. Blonde Wheat Beer is by no means a bad offering.
Side note:
High Point's beers seem to be at their best fresh, in growler form. It's kind of like homebrew, in that High Point adds nothing in terms of preservatives, etc., to lengthen the shelf life of their bottled beer. I've had two awful, sour bottles of their Weizenbock, but also a sublime Maibock in a fresh growler direct from the brewery. I'd imagine that some of these beers would go bad in less than a year in the bottle. Choice is yours.

A- Poured into a regular pint glass, this beer shows a good amount of white head with some nice lacing. The beer itself is a an orange gold.
S- On the nose I get ample spice, citrus zest, and other scents I can't quite place.
T- The beer has a good amount of citrus and malt flavor. Unfortunately, for me the finish has a distinct syruppy flavor which was very off putting.
M- has a lot of carbonation and medium heaviness.
D- Average given the syruppy flavor and lack of a good finish.

Poured in a .5 liter glass mug, nice creamy head with cloudy golden color, spicy aroma, tasty wheat with hints of clove and banana, spices - head laces nicely. This is a staple Weissbier for my wife and myself -we live about a mile from the brewery.
We love this delicious hefeweizen.

Mouthfeel: A bit spritzy and overcarbonated
Drinkability: Good as a session beer

I don't get this beer. Bought a mixed case with this beer and the Classic. Completely flat out of the bottle. I drank several bottles before rating this beer and all were the same. I contacted the brewer and he said he had no other complaints with this batch. The best before was 2 + months away. The smell and the taste were both good. The smells was typical hefe, with a hint of clove and the taste was a bit lemony. I love hefeweizen but this one is not enjoyable to drink.

Adequate weissbier. Vey haze amber in color. Minimal head. Very little lacing. Floral nose. Neutral taste. A very good weissbeer, particularly for a new jersey beer. No aftertaste. Excellent drinkability. Good session beer. Would recommend. Will review more in morning after I wake up
