Poured into 9oz pilsener glass. Poured a lightly hazy pale yellow color with about 1-1/2 inches of white head that had good retention, light lacing and lots of bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass.

The aroma was good grains, some gentle hops and a slight bit of yeast. Pretty typical. The flavors were pretty typical as well, a nice blend of grain and hops.

The body was good, crisp and smooth. Drinkability was good, the beer went away quickly and easily. Overall, a nice little beer. Worth a shot if you see it.

This is a darn good beer as it is, and for the style.

Light golden pour, clean and clear. Fluffy white head, a bit rocky, and comes to a nice collar. Some lacing clings around.

Aroma is full of malt, hops and spice. Tada! That's really it. The mild malt and sweetness blends well with the grassy hops and lemon-y spice.

Flavors follow the nose. Sweet up front, malty in the middle. Grass and spice on the end with a quick lemon zip before the carbonation lifts it away. Dries out to the point of quenching.

Darn good beer from 'Tana

A - clear straw golden, thin white head dissipated quickly to a few random blobs
S - grassy and herbal hops with some adjunct, gentle citrus, and bubblegum aromas
T - crisp grassy and light pepper hop notes, toasty grains, slight metallic, with grassy and herbal notes lingering, very classic flavour
M - crisp, clean, light, with a pleasant dry
O - a quality pils with a noticeable softness, classic flavours, and chuggability, well done

Picked up for $14.88 as part of a mixed 12 pack picked up on 9-2-11 at Wolds Valley Market in Seeley Lake, MT. Assembled on 7-18-11. Reviewed from notes made 9-4-11.

Beer poured a straw color with not much head.

Nose was pale malts initially, non-descript after the brew warmed a bit.

Taste was a nice balance between the pale malts with a nice saaz hop bite at the end.

Mouthfeel is light in body and carbonation, somewhat refreshing.

Overall this is a decent representation of the style.

Best by Sept, 2011

Have had this many times via tap and growler and have really dug it. Although this review does not bode well for the beer, I can vouch for my loyalty to the beer on tap. Perhaps this beer was simply too close to the best by date as the crispy taste touch and smells have died out.

A: pours a nice light grainy ale with hazy clarity. No head formation. No lace. Nothing to look at.

S: Sweet creamed corn with soft yeast tones. A wee bit of grassy hops in there. Not nearly as clean smelling as I recall.

T: Grain, grass, yeast, hint of bitterness, creamed corn again. Some metallic tones here and there.

M: Medium bodied with sharp carbonation and an off-dry finish.

O: This beer is not so nice in the bottle, but I will contest that on draft the beer is much better.

This beer seems to be all over the place so I decided to figure out wht the big deal was. No big deal.

A: Poured a light golden color with good carbonation and a small white head

S: Smell is lemony, hop scent is present. Plenty of grass

T: Sweet malty taste with crisp hoppy bite at the end. Honey and a light corn presence

M: Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, goes down very easy.

D: Pretty easy to drink but not one great pils I would go out of my way for

A very clear yellow, fizzy looking, little white head.

Smell is slight grain, sweet, little hops, a bit of bread.

Taste is a crisp blend of sweet malt, lemon, citrus, really all of it is very light tasting nothing stands out to much.

Mouthfeel is a nice light thin crispness that has a strong carb.

good drink, a definate lawnmower beer with a little more kick to it
