Enjoyed on 7/13/12 at Wilmington Iron Hill
A: Pours out a bright yellowish orange color. About a quarter finger of bright white head. Leaves some lacing bits. No real pronounced alcohol feet.
S: I get a good amount of tropical fruit from the Citra hops. Pineapple, mango, etc. Very low malt bill here.
T: On the tip of the tongue I get that nice Citra bitterness. Lots of fruit forward hops. When the malts kick in, they blend nicely (caramel malt and crystal I assume) to sort of balance it but leave it more hop forward. Nice bitter dry finish.
M: A lighter medium. It's actually like some of the stronger pale ales out there now.

Had on tap at Brews by the Bay
A: The beer is a hazy orange with a small white head on top. Moderate retention and lacing.
S: Great aroma of tropical fruits, some pineapple, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. Very inviting.
T: Similar to the aroma, gotta love citra hops. More tropical and citrus fruits, pineapple, grapefruit, a little orange zest.
M: Medium bodied with good carbonation. Easy drinking.
O: Probably the best beer at the festival, wouldn't expect anything less from Iron Hill.

Picked this off the special/seasonal menu on 7/6/12 at the Wilmington, DE location.
Orange/deep yellow with thin white head. Smells like citra hops, tropical fruits and juicy sweetness. Tastes sweet and juicy. Carbonation is a bit lower than anticipated, but overall a solid IPA. Would order again.
