Draft offering at the Lancaster location. The brew appears a pale straw yellow color with some haze keeping it from appearing perfectly clear. A white cap fades farly fast leaving some spotty lace on the glass.
The smell suggests spice of clove and wheat with a sweet cereal grain inclusion that transitions to bubblegum. More smells reveal additional layerings of sweetness that at times is almost candy-like.
The taste is grassy with a crisp bitterness. Some herbal and yeasty components make for an overall green feel. Spice like mild clove and bubblegum are mid palate with a lasting earthy quality. Fruit like pear and apple specifically with more fruity and floral hops emerging as it warms.
This is a light bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. It is quite crisp and refreshing. Certainly worth a try but I think the hops could be restrained a bit to create an overall beer that would be more easily approachable. Reardless this was a nice take on a style you dont see every day. Worth checking out.

a: This was a hazy, slightly dirty straw color. It poured with short lived, fizzy white cap.
s: Light citrus plus some grape and pear aromas. Some mineral notes as well.
t: Dry as hell and very tasty. Suggestions of fruity esters, some grassy bitterness and a long, lingering mineral flavor.
m: Very spritzy.
o: A very good dry saison, definitely recommended.

I had this at Iron Hill Lancaster served in a wheat glass on tap.
The color is very light straw with mild haze and thick white fluff on top with ultra fine bead. The smell has a bit of sulfur and slight saison-like fruit notes which are mildly citrus and slight white grape. The feel is super-highly carbonated like champagne and is gassy with slight crisp and dry finish with medium body and mild grainy tinges.
The flavor is good with plenty of yeast taste and slight saison like spice with a gentle tinge of lemon and herbal notes, the high carbonation gives the impression that it has spice, but I bet it is just the yeast. I like the way the slight citrus comes forward and light white grape in the background with a very dry crisp finish. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who likes a dry saison or champagne for that matter.
