Belgian-style farmhouse ale aged with elderberries
A- A nice hazy deep red, touch of purple, with a one finger pink head, nice lacing.
S- Elderberries, earthy spices, tart, and just a touch of a medicinal smell. The medicinal smell is not that strong and doesn't take too much away from the nose.
T- Tart elderberries, slightly sour, earthy spices, red wine like flavors in the finish , nice complexity.
M- Light to medium body, smooth, crisp.
O- This is a nice unique beer worth trying if you get the chance. This is almost like a lambic with low funk and a touch of red wine.
