Growler poured into a snifter
A- A clear amber/copper color with a three finger head
S- Citrus hops with hint toffee and malts.
T- Tastes are fighting each other a little too much. I am get a nice roasted malts taste that reminds me a little of Iron Hill's porter followed by a big bitter earthy hop finish. Both flavors are great, but it just jumps from one to the other.
M- Medium body, smooth, refreshing.
D- This is a nice Double IPA from Iron Hill and I would order one again at the bar, but would not buy another growler. This is a beer that is growing on me with each sip I take.
