First had: on tap at Iron Hill, Media, PA

Poured dark brown with some reddish highlights, and a small tan head. Caramel malt aroma, and a light chocolate. A strong chocolate taste and essence of pureed cherries. Medium mouthfeel; finished a little weak, but still a very good brew overall, and moderately drinkable.

Thanks to thirdeye11 for sharing this hand bottle from the Iron Hill Media location. This beer was drank after it had warmed up quite a bit, which I think was a good thing.

The beer pours a very dark brown color with red highlights and a tan head. The aroma is peanut butter and cherries. Very strange but also very nice.

The flavor is peanut butter, cherries, roasted malt and some chocolate. This beer tastes like a chocolate-peanut butter- cherry stout. I have never had anything quite like it, but I really enjoyed it.

Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation.

Growler received in trade with gibby. Poured into an Allagash sremmed glass.

A - Pours a very dark black with ruby highlights. A thin cap of off-white head leaving behind a thin collar and some subtle lacing on the glass.

S - Chocolate, cherries, a sweet maltiness, some alcohol,

T - Milk chocolate dominates with a definitely noticeable cherry flavor. Some mild coffee and dark roasted malts. Also some slight astringency. Maybe some raspberry flavors too. Alcohol is noticeable too, but not distracting. Really reminds me of some other beer that i can't place right now.

M - A bit thin in body for a stout and overall, on the thin side of medium bodied. Carbonation is smooth and creamy in feel. Light fruitiness and astringency too.

D - This is a pretty easy drinker. Nice toasty flavors and plenty of cherry character...nice beer. Glad to have the opportunity to try this one. 8% alcohol is hidden very well.
